Country: United States | State: Colorado

Both stages of this multi are located within Two Rivers Park. The terrain is easy for the most part but because of the construction the terrain rating is now a 2.5 instead of the original 1.5. The views are outstanding; bring your camera. Many events are held at this park so it's usually busy and muggles are sure to be an obstacle. The trail, through the park, is part of the 'Glenwood Springs River Trail'.
Posted at the first stage are a set of numbers on a small white label with black print - fixed to a stationary object. There are three labels at the posted coordinates so it should be fairly easy to spot one of them. The set of numbers will appear as: XX/XXX. Subtract these numbers from the posted N/W coordinates respectively. The solution will be the coordinates to the final cache; a small container with a log and pencil located close to the confluence of the Colorado and the Roaring Fork rivers.

Currently, there is construction underway on the pedestrian bridge at the east end of the park but this shouldn't interfere with the hunt. Good Luck.

Congratulations to littlesuzy on the FTF!

I believe I did the math correctly and found myself at a scenic junction, a spot that matched photo, but there was nothing there.

Do I subtract the numbers from the coordinates that are structure like this N XX XX.XXX or N XX XX.XXXX? Meaning, does it end with three numbers after the period or 4? I tried both coordinates and ended up with a did not find. Both located within the park.

Cool little cache in a beautiful spot! Thanks!

We drove up yesterday from Phoenix and got some sleep here before heading toward Estes Park this weekend, then Denver after. I woke up at 4:30 this morning and decided to take a sunrise stroll along the river.

Saw this cache nearby and had to go for it! It was nice and easy, though I did find the replacement container rather than the original. It was in a very likely hidey spot, so I would assume, like the previous logger, that the original is no longer. Either way, what a beautiful walk this morning

I’m not usually the type to to log a cache this way, but judging by what we found nearby it would appear that the cache had been muggled. Located two small pencils within a few feet of ground zero and determined the apparent intended hiding spot from the lone picture in the logs. I had a piece of paper that I picked up en route to stage one that I scribbled my computations on and located a quasi-suitable micro container alongside the pencils that I combined into a temporary placeholder until it can be properly checked on by the cache owner. If that’s not kosher I completely understand and will forfeit the find. It was a really nice walk after being on the train since 04:30 in the morning and the weather was gorgeous. Thanks (tentatively) for the cache!

I drove to the area from Wellington, CO with a very early start, planning to do some caching in the Grand Junction area and points farther south later in the day. This was my first stop of the trip. It was refreshing to get out of the car after 4 hours of steady driving and to loosen up my legs a bit pursuing this nice multi. It was a good kick-off to a 4-day caching trip. Signed the log, gassed up, and continued west. Thanks for this nice multi, DArR.

Notoriously we have a very high DNF record, so we tend to avoid multis because there are just more stages that we can mess up. However, we had some time to kill and we were enjoying this very nice park.. so we decided to give it a go. Somehow, despite our low monkey IQs, we managed to get the math right and found the cache very quickly. We think it is probably more luck than smarts. Left a TB to continue on its travels.
