Mise en place: is having everything in it's place. If you are going to prepare a recipe have all of the ingredients ready before you begin cooking. It can also include pots, pans, and utensils. It is basically being prepared for any task you are assigned.
Copper Mountain, Timberline Express.
To find the letterbox. Go the the posted coordinates. Travel up the hill and count the large poles. Stop at the tenth pole. Go 100 feet east and start looking. I have included a cooking stamp and ink pad.

Windy day on the mountain with 1" of fresh, so a good day to ski cache! Nice to avenge my DNF from a few years ago and I now realize the mistake I made. Cache is in good shape. Cheers!

Searched for this a few years ago and a few hundred yards away. Using a better base for counting found this en place. Picked up one of the last lifts out of Timberline before heading East. TFTC.

Man. We feel like complete idiots for not following directions on our first two runs down Little Burn. Thank goodness we had that dumb "oh my gosh" moment and went right to it on the third attempt! Conditions were sub-par but it was still a great day! Thanks again for this great cache!

1388 Day 2 at Copper. Here on spring break with the fam. Love this mountain. This was my last of the day, and ended up being the last of the quick trip. It also was my favorite of the short trip! Took me a bit to find the right pole bit after I did I hopped into the trees and found the tree mentioned. Very cool and creative cache. Gets a fav from me!

A fun search for this one. Took two runs but the directions are spot on! Second favorite for Copper Mountain.

Looked a little bit yesterday and didn't make the find. I didn't think I'd get back to look again but a skier in our group I dropped a glove on the lift line so I had an excuse to go back. After a short search I made to find. All was in good shape. Thanks for the hide!

It would help immensely if I have Mise en place before searching for this one. Spent a whole lotta time looking and digging because I wasn't following directions. After about my 5th run down the icy mogules, I discovered my starting point was wrong and make the find quickly on the next run. Love this type of cache. Thanks!

Good thing I had read the hint and recent logs as my phone was dead when I attempted this find. I had already figured out which pole to start from and when I got there I saw the object the hint mentioned. At that point it was a fairly easy find other than skiing through the trees. Didn't see the TB but I don't look that hard as it was the end of the day and I was tired. Really enjoyed the skiing while it was snowing all day. TFTC!
