This shopping center has seen many changes over the past 30-40 years. To the NE of this cache the first business was a small grocery store (currently a drug store). The next business to the east was a duckwalls which now been coverted to a soon to be out of business video store and a credit union. As I recall duckwalls was more or less a 5&10 store and everyone came here for school supplies (it was the only store like this on the westside). The liquor store still exists, but has expanded to take over a pet store. The bar/lounge has managed to survive the years. In the middle of the parking lot there is an oriental resturant which at one time was a pizza-rut. Dropped many a quarter in that new thing called video games (Asteroids).

To the west of this cache is grocery store. While it has survived it is not in its original location. It used to face north, probably almost where this cache is located. It was moved further west and it now faces east. Pizza-rut also relocated to this parking lot.

How things have changed over the years!
