GC81F4M Unknown Cache Kilroy's 2z Bridge Challenge
Type: Mystery | Size: Small Small | Difficulty: 3 out of 5 | Terrain: 3.5 out of 5
By: dustyriver @ | Hide Date: 12/17/2018 | Status: Available
Country: United States | State: Colorado

Kilroy stood next to the northwest corner, leaning against railing.
He dreamed he was standing on the bow of the Titanic as in the movie.
The feeling of flying in the wind.
His dreams would be of difficulty two's.

He knew he was in a safe place. Below him was concrete.
Should the waves of the Colorado oceans become too
high, he knew there was a safe place to hide between
the concrete below him and the concrete below him.

Bring writing stick for log signing. Cache will hold small
SWAG and small travel bugs.

? You must find a total of
7 other caches with a dificulty of 2.
Each one must be a "Difficulty 2" cache but each cache
must be of a different terrain rating, 1 thru 4.
2/1 - 2/1.5 - 2/2 - 2/2.5 - 2/3 - 2/3.5 - 2/4
If you look at the Difficulty/Terrain rating the second number
or star is the terrain. IE: 1 1.5 2 2.5 3 3.5 4.
D/T rating of 2/4.5 and 2/5 are not required.
When you find all 7 you may log this cache as a "Found It".

UPDATE: Original bridge railing has fallen, blocking easy access.
Still available, just not as easy. D/T has been adjusted.

Logging: Run the verify checker below.

Greetings dustyriver,

I'm IgnotusPeverell, one of the volunteer reviewers.

It looks like your cache has been under the weather for some time. While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block other cachers from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time, we can't do so forever. Please either repair/replace this cache in the next couple of weeks, or archive it so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and cachers can once again enjoy visiting this location.

If the reason the cache is under the weather is something out of your control, such as construction or flooding, please post a note on the cache page with your best guess of when the conditions will improve. If the situation is temporary and is something out of your control, there is no need to archive the cache at this time. Please however, add a note to the cache page detailing the situation to allow others to understand the situation - and - to prevent this from being archived for inactivity.

Additionally, please note that if no action is taken in 30 days, I will be forced to archive this cache. Don't let your cache get archived for non-communication.

Thanks,
IgnotusPeverell

The CO gave us a hint so we went back today and gave it another search. Looks like someone took the cache and left golf balls!?!? Who does that ? With the CO’s permission we are logging this as a find.

The cache was just laying on the ground. I do not know where it belongs. I placed a piece of broken concrete on top of it. The CO May want to do a maintenance visit. Tftc. Easily qualify.

Today I was out and about caching in the area with the always cheerful herndonrd. We were looking for challenges, Invasion caches, and whatever else tickled our fancy.

As was the norm for the day, herndonrd found the container while I was looking in all the wrong places. Like the cacher before us, we made it much more difficult than necessary. After we put our ink on the log we put everything back in place and then we were off to find another one of your hides. Thanks for the fun challenge and for your contribution to a great day of caching.

P. S. No animals (including humans, aliens, or PayMeCache) were harmed in the writing of this log.

P. P. S. The attached image shows that I qualify for this challenge. Gotta love project-gc.

Well here it is Challenge Cache day!! Out of the 10 new challenges we qualify for 6 of them. Love increasing this stat. So maybe I will make a challenge out of all the challenges I have found. Anyway great to see these. Keep them coming.

Some may say we are crazy, but this game/hobby is one of the greatest gifts. Who doesn’t love a great scavenger hunt. Hiking, biking or driving hundreds of miles to sign our name on a piece of paper. This brings us a lifetime of joy, and new friends from all around the world.

Thanks for placing this cache and keeping our recreation going. SL - T5M/PC. Tftc

Mrs. Herndonrd was off with the girls for Mother's Day, and we're celebrating our anniversary on Tuesday (even though it's today) so I'm stuck with FeartheFish and we decided to head up into this part of the Metro to work off the backlog of solved puzzles and challenges on my list and grab some others while there. Log from a previous finder was helpful. TFTC!
