Fairly easy find with an incredible view! Only about 10 minutes from Monument Rock.

 

Main path: Go on the back path connecting Monument Rock and the pond (eastern, towards Mount Herman), take the left about a quarter way in from Monument Rock, and take the first left (follow straight) on this trail. Then all that's left to do is to follow the trail to the cache up on the hill!

 

Cache contains a log, eraser, pencil sharpener, and pencil. It is enclosed in two ziploc bags. Once you're up on the hill, the cache is easily accessible.

Needed to get outside today, so targeted this general area due to some solved puzzles and open trails that I hoped wouldn't be icy. The trails are still very slick in spots, but the caches were all in good condition! Thanks for placing this one.

Where we stopped to eat lunch on the other side of monument rock my huggle could see this rock & wondered if that was a trail up the east side. Yep! It is. Cache is well hidden. A fav point for a Hide we could ride to.

I found it (the boulder and the cache) but the coordinates had me initially searching about 30 feet west and a little north. Regardless, found it and signed it. Loved the printed container! TFTC!
