Scenic view  Available at all times  Available during winter  Parking available  No Bicycles  No Motorcycles  No Quads  No Off-road vehicles  No Snowmobiles  Needs maintenance  Medium hike (1km-10km)

The only reason I marked the terrian so high is becuase the cach is downhill of the trail which is kinda steep. Although, hunters should not have a problem getting there.
The cache is located on an old mine just right off the trail. The cache is a green gatorade bottle. The scenery is beautiful, enjoy. There is a think neck to it, so PLEASE DO NOT PUT ANYTHING IN THERE THAT YOU HAVE TO JAM IN.

What a wonderful afternoon to get out of work a bit early and hit the trails. I met up with CVA64 at the main parking lot for Blodgett, gathered up some water and snacks and with that we set out on the trail with only 4 caches in sight. This was the second cache of the afternoon. Unfortunately we had lost the trail a bit on the way so some bush whacking was involved. The landscape is very diverse through here mixed with fire ravaged forest, regrowth of scrub and raspberries, to thick old forest. Loved it! We arrived above the cache and had to go downhill a bit to it and made the quick find. Stamped the log and replaced as found. All is well here. Then took the time to explore the area and take a peek inside the cave. I often wonder what these miners were after all those years ago. This one obviously had something and I wish I had better knowledge of geology to be able to identify some of these rocks. I like these spots as it makes my imagination go wild imagining life and the labor involved. Thanks for finding this location and bringing me here! Love it!

Neat little area! I found the replacement container (a black peanut butter jar) exactly as described. Cache is in fine shape. And I'm happy to report that it qualifies for the Cache Revival Challenge since it has been lonely for more than a year! TFTC!

Was feeling lazy today and didn't really want to get out, but the snow had melted by noonish and I had run out of excuses, so I headed west. Got this one on my way back from Cliff Hanger. Cool little cave! How do people find these things?! Found the cache where the previous logs described it, and headed back down the trail just as it started to rain. Was completely soaked by the time I got back to my car! TFTC

Found this cache while also working on a nearby multi. Signed log and returned as found. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.

Found it, wow! Ya, once I found the "trail" from following the small cairns. Otherwise I don't think I would have found it. Tftc and thanks for the new container and rehide and hints about that.

Replaced the cache today. Not sure exactly where it was originally placed but I put it at a likely spot at the coordinates under a rock. There is a metal strap of about 1 1/2 inches wide by about 4 feet long there at that spot and it is about 40 feet from the mine entrance.

See log entry for more details. If the next local cacher could bring a replacement container, we can keep this one going.
