This cache is at the base of Smelter Mountain in the Dog Park in the rocks.

This is our first cache to place and it's the Home of Kimo the Great TB Race Turtle.
He was in the Great TB Race of 2009 and came in 4th.

Bring the dogs, and kids and have fun. Don't forget the camera.

This is nice easy walk most the way, last few 100 feet are up hill, a nice little climb,
may be a little hard to get to in a foot of snow and is going to be hard for small kids.

Where to PARK your ride to start your hunt:

The designated parking area for the Dog Park is located on the South side of Highway 160 just West of the bridge in the first driveway, there are several spots for parking here and is the best place to park. Or park along Roosa Ave across the river from the Double Tree and follow the river down stream, go under the highway on the foot path. DO NOT CROSS the Highway, it can be very busy road and Do Not Park in front of the Dog Park Entrance. Once inside the Dog Park follow your GPS.

A little history if you care > From a Smelter to a Dog Park.

Please Replace It As You Found It For The Next Cacher.

On a hot summer day watch out for the Rattlers in the rocks

Original Items:
Log book, pencils and sharpener, 2 Betty Boop key rings, Funny Money, Rubber Fishing Worms, Fish Eye Mirror, a String of Silver Beads and TB's Pete Scout 1 and Golden Jubilee.

Looking to collect some travel bugs from CO before heading. back to TN. This one had one. You know your desperate if you go into a place that has the sort of warning at the entrance. (see picture Shock). I bet the dogs love this place. What a large dog park!
