Congrats Denali41 (and Orizaba) on a verified FTF!
This cache IS located at the given coordinates, however to mark this cache as found you must meet the given criteria.
This challenge is to have found 10 Virtual Cache types in one calendar day! Both popular demand, and for a future reason, I have decided to add a virtual cache challenge to my list.
Virtual Caches can be a lot of fun. They are no longer allowed for listing, so they are unique in many ways. They will most likely give you a great spot to visit, some history, or help you find some place you might have missed if not for the cache. I have found monuments along highways I've driven on many times and never spotted before, I have been to ruins of old forts, the top of a volcano, and even "Junkrassic Park" in SE Colorado which is highly recommended if you are in the area! Its very similar to the Swetsville Zoo here in Fort Collins, which was actually my first Virtual Cache completed!
Any way you look at it, virtual caches are fun and unique in every way, but to find them these days sometimes requires a bit of travel! You may have to find them in a big city, and you may have to travel a ways to get 10 in a single day which is why this is a challenge. The one thing I can guarantee is that if you do 10 virtual caches in a single day, I can almost guarantee you will learn something new!
Since this is a challenge cache, keep in mind it is optional! You do not have to complete this challenge, and you may always cache at your own pace. Challenges are meant to be a way to geocache in a fun way and to give you something new to do on top of finding one geocache after the other. Challenges can also be rewarding to those who have already completed them, or something for you to try and complete again!
To qualify for this challenge, you must add in your log the date you completed the challenge along with the name and GC codes for all 10+ virtual caches. You may add a screen shot of your profile or a GSAK list if that is easier for you, whichever way you choose is up to you. If you do not provide me with the required information within a timely manner I may delete your log. FTF status is also dependent upon a quick verification, so make sure if you are going for FTF you have your information ready the same day!
Keep in mind you can do a "write note" for this challenge as well as all my other challenges, and you may change it to Found when you do qualify. This way you do not have to come back to the cache location at a later date, which is very helpful for those who are visiting or from out of town.
Challenges are meant to be fun and something new for you to shoot for, so if you enjoy this challenge keep an eye out for others in the area!
