Nice hike to a great view, next to the trail.
Set up this cache today to mark the last time in this century that the date 12/12/12 will exist. 

Placed on a nice sunny day after a few days of colder weather.  There is a great view of the surrounding mountains from the cache. 

The hike to the cache from the parking area along the road is somewhat steep, but well worth it. 

Cache is hidden on county open space.   Large enough for small items and trackables.  Small enough to hidden easily.

KSsweetie and I came up from Colorado Springs, had lunch in Golden at the Sherpa House, then stopped by to get this cache prior to heading on to Blackhawk. Thanks to El Dorado Kid for an enjoyable hike to a nice cache and thanks for the maintenance of it over these past 6 years! All is well with the container and the log.
