Got to go for a nice snowy hike with COpackrat today! This one has been on our list for quite some time, so it was wonderful to finally be successful, even in the winter! Thanks for this puzzle.

Got back to the park today via horseback with the huggle in tow to see if one of us could boost the other up. Cache was still safe & sound on its ledge as I had seen it before (not sure what snailman had seen). The huggle got me started on his knee ( I am in no way a petite person) and I did a layup as he wiggled me further up an inch at a time until I could finally get my feet under me and I could duck walk (good thing my riding boots are grippy rubber) the 2nd pitch in. I grabbed the cache & as I opened it one of the tabs either broke off or it was already broken. I signed the replacement log with the 2 signatures from June. I did get both tabs snapped into place & the container returned. Getting back down ended up being more a leap of faith as I literally landed back on my huggles knee. Recommend wearing long sleeves as the Rock is rough.

Well I've solved the puzzle & ive spotted the cache but as an old lady with no special climbing skills have no idea how I'm going to get to it. If anyone has any ideas or would like to join me, please let me know.

11:31 AM We are here from Dallas for our typical August vacation in Divide in order to skip the Texas heat for a couple of weeks.

Today we headed to Spruce Mountain and Open Space. We were here about 5 years ago for the conclusion of a classic SparrowPI multicache. This time it's the Classic Movie series that is bringing us to the area.

Solved the puzzle. We'll call this trip "recon." Pretty high winds today, but beautiful clear skies. Thanks, Jesusfreak14, for the cache.

Bobitandanokums did all the hard work of cracking the codes but after a like hike down and back up the mountain a couple times we found it all broken apart. After gathering up what was left we made new log and placed it back where we best guess it’s original location.
One of my favorites!
