The third cache in my IB Project Series! This cache requires you to solve a puzzle before going out to find the cache. Think high school! These caches are designed to be simple yet fun (hopefully), and Id like to get fairly detailed logs about your attempts, solution process, and search for the cache. Its all part of the project. Thanks!
Anyways, here is the puzzle! You may have seen puzzles that use the same key, but this puzzle reverses it and extends it. Dont get too fancy trying to solve it, its fairly simple. Think back to high school, like I said :)

05/21/2018 By Paurian The first time I looked at the puzzle, it didn’t make sense. But the CO’s hint put me right down the correct solution. This was a pretty clever puzzle. The hike to GZ took place during my lunch hour and it took little effort to spot it, though I first thought it was trash given the CO’s description of the container. After holding the cache, noting the tale-tell signs of the use of duck tape, then giving it a rattling shake, I knew I had the right container. Took a Get Out Of Hell Free card and left a tiny Dino.
Cheers!
03/30/2018 By K Trackers On a daily basis, I normally try to pick up the easiest cache that I can; one convenient to my daily travels in order to maintain my streak. This cache was not one of those. I’ve ogled this cache from a distance for years, even more so than I used to ogle the pretty girls back in High School…isn’t that kinda creepy / stalky nowadays? Anyway, I’ve had to ogle this one from a distance because I had no idea what to do here. Although quite adept at High School math, geometry, algebra, trigonometry and calculus back in the day…I had no idea what to do with set of apparently random numbers. Has High School math changed that much? While I’m sure the CO is convinced that back in the day I did my math homework on the floor of my cave with an abacus and only a whale oil lantern for light; surely math couldn’t have changed that much in the intervening centuries? Deciding it couldn’t be so, I set out over a year ago to work the puzzle. Not knowing how to crack the puzzle I conscripted a High School and a College sophomore, along with some other characters to work the numbers. Eventually, a solution was presented…although in the 14 months or so that has pasted I have no recollection how we developed the solution. Fortunately, my recording keeping is better than my fuzzy memory and math so the final coordinates were on hand for my hunt today. Comparing the final coordinates to the posted coordinates, I see that High School sophomores must drive allot more than I recall. Arriving at the final, I was fortunate to make the find in good order. The container and log are still in good shape. Oddly, some swag was protected by a plastic bag, but the log was not. I put the log in the bag…not understanding why previous finders failed to do so. Thanks to the CO for placing this nice cache, tough puzzle, and giving me something to do while in detention. TFTC.

03/04/2018 By GoMRT Shades of sophomore science from 1985 come to mind as I worked through the puzzle. Made way to the cache, which is no longer a lock n lock by the way, but a former black liquid container I think, with ease and signed the log. TFTC here and the puzzle.
08/13/2017 By TexDoc56 Solved this awhile ago but after a thorough search only came up with trash and an empty bird nest.
