You will find this neat little puzzle box at the posted coordinates. The original was placed on Marauder Jude's 3rd Birthday.  Nearly 5 years have gone by and the original disintigrated long ago.  My build quality and design work has improved and so we rebuilt this one.  Exact same concept, just much much better!

 

This is a field puzzle!

 

From the original: "As usual I saw some extra parts laying around the work bench and formulated an idea.

A short while later I came up with this creation.

It really was more of a proof of concept than anything else but the kids took a liking to it. Jude started carrying it around and putting all his treasures in it. Button added a few Frozen items as well. With final paint complete we decided to place it."

 

This time around the build was much more intentional.  Better tools and supplies make this one clean and more secure. The kiddos did enjoy this one too for awhile before it was placed.   

 

There is no nearby parking but on a nice day the walk or bike ride along the trail is very enjoyable.  Please re-hide the cache at least as well as you found it. Jude would be sad if this one was muggled for a second time.

 

Report any issues you may have. It is large enough for some swag and trackables but it is not water tight.

Heading up to Denver I stopped in Monument to see the new Beatles caches, then decided I still had time for a little hike so headed up to this one. Glad it was no further up the trail as the wind really started up on the way. Made the find and got it open. All good and dry so far. Thanks RPieperCO for another fun field puzzle.

After grabbing the other new one I saw there was a new puzzle nearby along a trail that I think that I have been on before

With the windy cold weather conditions again I had a wide open trail to and from.

Very interesting hide location

Got it open and to my surprise the log was not blank
