Dragnet is perhaps the most famous and influential police procedural drama in media history. The series gave audience members a feel for the boredom and drudgery, as well as the danger and heroism, of police work. Dragnet earned praise for improving the public opinion of police officers.

Solved the puzzle a while ago and was in the area today.
Interesting way to do a puzzle!
Cache was another quick park and grab.

So in 1950, you could just walk into a drug store and buy a big bottle of cyanide solution?! Yikes! Buzz wasn't the sharpest knife in the drawer but it was still entertaining to listen to. Thanks for the fun and for showing us all every corner of the metro! I don't think I've ever cached in this area.

We headed out just before noon to cache our way to the "Trivia Night with Geocachers event. At approximately 1:30 pm, We were dispatched to this location in the City of Sheridan, after we had wrapped up our investigation of the Bar hold-up case. When we arrived at the scene, it was eerily quiet, almost making the hairs on the back of your neck to stand up. My partner Dectective Mrs.SDC covered me in case we were walking into a trap. Upon further investigation we found the suspect hiding in a very secluded spot. After getting the suspect to cooperate and come out and open up to reveal the real reason why we were here. When we had gathered all of the necessary information and signed off on the case, the suspect had a good alibi and was released from custody to return to its hiding place. Got back into the Geo-car and called dispatch to let them know another case was solved. Nice hide, SL,TFTC

Ok, Dick Tracy now top that!

Another call? We didn't even get to get our donuts! Just the facts? The story you are about to hear is true. My partners and I (the squad has grown from just me and FLM and today included Roxie, geysers123 and Alpenist) are detectives who are filling in at various departments within the city. For now, we're homicide detectives assigned to the department in Sheridan, CO. We got a call about a "cache in progress" and since we were in the area decided to take the case. We jumped into our vehicles (we now need two) and proceeded to the location of the alleged crime. Upon arrival it appeared that everything was under control. We apprehended our cache, logged our report and filed it appropriately. Once again, heading out for donuts until our next call. TFTC.
