This is the 5th in the Niwot series. I was originally going to hide it a lot closer to Niwot Road, but it collided with another cache's range. No matter! I found another great, challenging spot.

I suggest taking the road up to the Niwot Hills neighborhood for the easiest time, but if you're up for a challenge, pull off Niwot shortly before 95th while still flanked with trees on the right going east. There will be a shoulder so keep your eyes peeled. Then walk to the cache from there.

The cache is an incredibly annoying DNA tube. It shouldn't be in plain sight but things could change.

It got a little easier once I read the description and knew what I was looking for! Duh! Still, I almost gave up. Did a little CITO in the area, too. TFTC!

We got back from spending the morning shooting with my son out at the Pawnee Grasslands. After getting everything unloaded, we headed out to go get some DNF's off of our list before going out for dinner. After searching for about 10 minutes, I decided to give FLM a call to get a hint on this well hidden smiley. Still took another couple of minutes to come up with it. It was nice getting this off of the DNF list. Very nice hide and camo, SL,TFTC

A micro in a spot like this could certainly take a LONG time to find, but we were a little lucky, and I think we were in and out in about 10-15 minutes. Hint was definitely needed or this could have turned into a 5.0 quickly. Would give it a solid 3.0 anyway.

Taking advantage of a nice day to cache our way to the Social Butterfly -- Last Chance! Event in Longmont. We were already caching in Niwot when this came out. We headed over to this one hoping to get our monthly FTF. We searched the area for about 20 minutes and decided to move on. No luck here today.
