This one was a bit tricky due to the trail being difficult to find at times. Not a big problem. A longer trek than you might think due to topography. Bridge was out, and so we had to find a safe place to cross the stream. Fun Find!

Found this one on 8/10/17 but forgot to log it. We really enjoyed the walk thru the lodgepole pines. Geocaching in SFSP was a lot of fun for our family. We'll be back to find the ones we didn't have time for during our first trip. Thank you for maintaining these caches!

This cache is back up and running and was a pleasure to find. Very nice and easy trail. We started the wrong way though, up at the top of Lumberjack, all the way down and connected with Pennock Trail so going back to the truck we had to go all the way up Lumberjack. It wasn't bad but there are easier ways to get to the geocache. We love State Forest State Park! Thanks for getting this one back up and running, and all the work you do maintaining all the geocaches in the Park.

I am archiving this defunct geocache to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair or replace the cache sometime in the future, please contact me via my profile, and assuming it still meets the guidelines, I will be happy to unarchive it.

Thank you,

It appears that your geocache has been under the weather for a while now. Geocaches that need repair or maintenance should generally be taken care of within a few weeks. Please check on this geocache to repair/replace it and post a log to indicate you have done so, or archive it and pick up any remaining cache contents as soon as possible. Once the geocache has been replaced and/or you have verified that it is OK, you can go ahead and enable it. Please contact me if you have any questions. If there is no evidence that the cache has gotten attention (e.g. cache enabled, or note posted to cache page) or I have not heard from you about this cache in a few weeks it may need to be archived.

Thank you,
