 Hints

GPS may have some error in it, the accuracy could be off.
Look alongside the road and think of some famous miners. Theirs was the real "School" of hard rock. I really mean rock not nocks. This could be be the clue that will give you your final "Grade"

#676. Parked in slightly the wrong place but managed to fit between the gap in the red and white things and then managed to find what was required quite quickly!

Today I drove the scenic route from Denver, Colorado to Rapid City, South Dakota, detouring through Nebraska. I picked up as many virtuals as I could plus a couple of extra caches which happened to be close by. It was a great day, no rain, no DNFs, and got to see a ton of interesting stuff! I'm from New Zealand and this part of the United States is very very different to back home. It's been a great road trip so far! Thanks to all the cache owners for their caches! Where required, answers have been sent via the "Send Email" function to the cache owner listed.

The hardest part about this cache was getting here. My navigator was very confused, as it appears the county highway has been adjusted/altered to follow a new route and although I updated my maps last year, it hasn't been updated in the Garmin software. I was driving in "fields" and she kept saying "proceed to route" about ten times, ha.
This is an oldie that caught my eye for some time. I needed it for my Jasmer challenge. I love virtuals too. Thanks for creating this cache and keeping it going! I enjoy these caches that offer a piece of local history.
I'm on a weekend road trip through Cheyenne and Nebraska, heading back home the long way through Sterling and Greeley, back to Denver. I was able to grab a few oldies for my Jasmer matrix, a webcam, and a GIFF event for obtaining nine different cache types in one day. It's been a very successful geo road trip! Thanks for creating this cache and the smiley!
Cheers, keep calm and cache on!

Thanks for the interesting event and history, maybe we'll make it someday. The road intersection has been moved to the north, and the online map data and satellite imagery haven't caught up yet.

Day 3 of our travels from NW Montana to GeoWoodstock XVI in Cincinnati, OH - treasure hunting along the way. We are trying to fill in a lot squares on the Fizzy, Hidden Dates, and Jasmer grids for blackdogsMT and add a few key ones on my grids.

This is one of the older virtual caches so we definitely wanted to stop by and read what this was about. We did the research on Google to get a better understanding of the Irish words.

The road into the parking area seems to be different than what Google maps recommended. OH the rigors of updating of the road system in mapping apps....
TFTC..

A friend, (betzij) and I are traveling cross country from our home in Western Montana to Cincinnati, Ohio for GeoWoodstock 16, America's first GIGA event May 26th, 2018. Over the course of caching there and back we are concentrating on Challenges, Oldies, Virtuals, Webcams, Larges, Earthcaches and traditionals with dates to finish out my Jasmer, Fizzy and Placed on grids. Thanks for your part in making our two week geocaching trip a memorable one! Dipping my personal TB's for mileage. Answers are on the way.

I was heading East toward Sterling on the highway and was going to stop at this virtual geocache but as I got near it the road didn't allow you to turn there anymore. Had to drive a little further and circle my way around and come out at from the south. As I pulled up a flatbed pickup pulled off the highway and a very friendly country boy ask me if he was on the right road to Greeley. I showed him the map on my phone, he said he got a little distracted while he was visiting and wasn't quite sure where he was anymore. After he headed off I took a picture of the memorial to get the answers to send when I got to my Motel later in the evening.
