This cache is placed in honor of Greasepot who placed the very first cache in Crowley County which is now archived. This cache is near the small town of Olney Springs, one of four towns in the county. If you need a bite to eat or snack while out cacheing, the town has a cafe. Please bring your own pencil/pen. Room for geo-coins or very small TBs.

Careful with the soft road shoulder and watch for wasps if you don't hit GZ first try.

Out and about in Eastern Colorado working on some of the more interesting local caches, along with a focus on new counties. Made the stop here with another vehicle nearby. It's clearly another cacher (skywx2go) and exchanged stories, signed, and moved on. TFTC!

Its been a long hot summer in Texas, I've been trying to get out and do a caching trip a couple of times this summer, but it never worked out. Finally managed to get a week off, and am so happy to be out here in Colorado. I set out to pick up a few caches this morning, and was limited to a little over an hour. This one was handy. I traveled a little ways around the Springs grabbing up ones that were more obvious to me than others. Hopefully I'll be back to snag a few more before we leave the state. Thanks for the caches here.

We're unfamiliar with greasespot but familiar with Crowley County! We're grateful that geocaching came to Crowley and added a new dimension to a place that's not thriving as it once was.
