Last cache of the weekend. Epic backing trip with Lemonheadmafia. Luckily this was a quick find. The storm was rolling in and we were hoping to make it back to the truck before it broke. We didn't make it and got pelted pretty good with hail. Tftc!

That's a long way for just one cache but I wanted the exercise today. I came up Seven Bridges trail and made a loop through Jones Park and Nelson Camp to get to it. New trails have been constructed in the area and some old ones have been dug up and decommissioned so expect it to take a while to find the right way to the cache. My GPS showed GZ in the same place as Rob14erGuy and Smailman1 and the replacement they left was right there. I decided to assume that the coords were off and look for a place that matched the hint but was closer to the trail. I finally found the original container tucked waaay back in the rocks about 30 feet west of GZ. After signing the log I secured it in the same space but not quite so far in. My GPS said N38 47.191 W104 57.668 at the cache. TFTC

No wonder my legs and feet were so tired. I didn't realize Snailman1 and I did 12 miles! It was a perfect day to do this loop though. Nice trails and weather today. We gave this one a good search and just found a couple rusty engine parts. Signed replacement.

Rob14erGuy and I got an early start at O dark thirty. When we pulled into the parking lot above Helen Hunt Falls we were surprised to see two fire trucks with there with flashing red lights on. Somebody had torched a car and they were putting the fire out. After passing the burned out car we headed up the trail and the moon was giving us plenty of light for us to see our way. Once we arrived at GZ both Rob14erGuy and I zeroed out at the large pine tree, but we didn't find anything there. We searched the rocks, trees and fallen logs and stuck out. We went ahead and dropped a replacement log. All we had was a paper and a small plastic bag which we place under a rock on the uphill side of the largest pine tree. It would be good if a future cacher brought a new container. After this cache we headed back down. My GPS registered a nice little 12 mile hike. TFTC.

Found with Java Chip a week after an initial attempt where 3 foot snow drifts on 701 caused us to turn around. The snow was all gone by the time we made our second attempt from Seven Bridges. TFTC!
