By the time you get back to your starting point, you will have completed 7.8 miles of beautiful country within Hartman Rocks. !ec?I
This is an eight stage multicache. It took me an hour and fifteen minutes just to place the containers and that is already knowing all the coordinates and having already identified the hiding places. You'll drive 5.8 miles to get from the starting point to the cache. Bring your camera as there is some beautiful scenery along the way. Once you find the cache, continue on to your original starting point to complete the 7.8 mile circuit. The starting point is a nano. The next six are micros so think small. The actual cache is a Rubbermaid container. I've placed a special First-To-Find prize in this cache for the first person who gets to the cache. Please let me know how long it takes you so I can pass on this information to future cachers. I estimate it will take two to three hours to find everything.

Not sure if stage one is still there. We spent way to much time there with no find. It also looked as if a sign had been moved recently. We are wondering if it is still there.

We are thinking about going and trying to find your cache. It has not been found for almost three years. Are all the steps still there?

29 August: Stage 1 took me longer than it should have, I had a "doh" moment, then stages 2 and 3 were found fairly quickly, then I hit the wall. I searched all over the stage 4 area, moving rocks, looking in crevices, and no such luck today. I looked for over 30 minutes before I called it a day. Beautiful area and a few cyclists out and about, but pretty much had the whole place to myself.

30 August: I returned to stage 3 to verify coordinates and headed back out to 4. Although GZ was about 5 feet different from yesterday, I re-searched again. I expanded my search out 15 feet in all directions from GZ and still no luck. There is an old fleece blanket nearby, so there have been people in the area.

Went and did a little cacheing with the family. Took a little less than 2 hours. Very clever and devious hides. TNLN. Thanks for the tour!

Hadn't been to Hartman Rocks since 2009. I forgot how awesome this place is. Came back for the multi. We got a little bored on the jeep trail with mountain bikes, so we went the long way around to find the caches via the singletracks. Great single tracks in Hartman Rocks. TFTC. All caches were there and easily found.

My first real big caching adventure It was a beautiful Spring day in the Rocky Mountains. A couple of seasoned caching friends took me on the Hartman Tour. I thought I was pretty hot until No 3 and I could not meet eye to eye. Thanks to my dear friends, and their experience, they were able to guide me on to No.4 I did reach No 8 with great excitment. Thanks for a fun day. Hint= Rocks are not only the secret place. Look up.....Tonka!

MORE FREE BEER!!! This cache is SO MUCH FUN, especially for two people -- two heads are better than one. It took RockDok and me 1 hr. 45 mins. to reach the last cache. Neither one of us have ever found a nano or a micro before. We found the nano instantly, because I've seen a picture of one and had an idea what to look for. However, the 2nd cache, which is a micro, took us quite awhile, because neither of us had ANY idea what we were looking for -- RockDok finally found it. So, between the two of us, we found them all, and had SO much fun doing it! We traveled by 4WD truck, but this would be a great mountain bike trip, too. It took me to a part of Hartman Rocks I've never been to before. When we finally found the last cache, RockDok said:''If there's free beer in it...I want it!" So he took the coupon, but I wanted a free drink, too...after all, anyone who completes this multicache deserves a major award....so I took the $2 which will help buy a glass of wine. We left a mini video-game and an emergency rain poncho. Thanks SO MUCH for this great cache!
