This was my second trip to 11 Eleven Mile State Park because there are a number of interesting caches in the area. I had formally dubbed today “11M Run Phase 2,” but informally the “Replacement Run” from all of the caches I wound up repairing today. I came after this one about a week ago during my “Phase 1” run because it was very lonely, but I DNF’ed. After consultation with the CO, we confirmed that it was missing. Knowing that I was coming back for “Phase 2,” I offered to replace it and budgeted time today to do that. I put the replacement in today and submitted a replacement report to the CO. I hope the replacement is quality and acceptable. This is a nice area, but takes considerable time and effort to get back here; especially if it is your first time and don’t know the roads well. See my log on GC42561 Out In the Middle for details on that misdaventure. Thanks to the CO for making the placement and brining to this nice area, TFTC.

I couldn't find this one today despite a spirited search. Three times I thought I had found it, but was mistaken. After the third false alarm, I realized I was seeing things from searching here too long and I was looking for a 4 or 5 difficulty hide. Given its history, I think this one might be gone.

Found on ground in the open. Log is damp. Small hole in cache. We put where it won't blow away. Didn't have time to go after the rest up the road. We rode our bikes in half way and needed to get Back to the truck. Beautiful area we will return. Tftc sl

YES!! FTF at 9:15. Hiked over here after getting out in the middle. We had a great day even with the DNF's. Olive sure got dirty playing in the water. SL TFTC
