Hike the ridge to the west of Snowmass village that forms the boundary of Brush Creek valley and you'll find this edge of the rim with a panaramic view of the entire Snowmass ski area.

Take the S Rim Trail and swing by the Yin-Yang cache (GC63PDC) and discover the secret compartment in the cache to find the final coordinates which is farther north on S Rim Trail.  The total hike is 3 miles round trip regardless of which end of the trail you return to.  S Rim trail is open year round and is well traveled by locals and snowpacked during the winter.

Had this cache on my wish list for quite a while but lacked access to the clue until now. Once at GZ there were a finite number of places that fit and there it was after 3 years + 1 day since last log.

Co (FTF) with good friends indiandunes and W01F . Absolutely great hike with abundant wildflowers everywhere you turned. Don't let the Mt. scare you, the path is mostly gradual due to many switchbacks. The view from the ridge is worth the effort. Thanks Mr. Peabody.
