The lake can be high and low, but about 90% of the time it is low enough to easily reach without getting wet!
Easy .5 hike in. Beautiful mountain & lake views.
Great view of Royal,Wichita,and Chief Mountains behind Frisco.
Park by Summit Middle School:

Follow paved bike path. Turn right off path at the running track and follow the dirt path. In winter snow may be abundant.

Hike along land to marshy area, cross and then find the trail again.

Look for cylindrical plastic container.

Paddled to this one while getting the new Amulets cache. I had to portage my kayak over to this "lake" to find this one. A bit chilly, but I did see a few other kayaks on the water, so I wasn't the only crazy paddler out there. Cheers!
