This one is in a stand of oaks, it's placed above snow level.

Cow Creek Rd. is the best access for this one but the JQS Trail will work too. There were a few caches placed up here this year so, one could go up on the Roan via Cow Creek Rd, come back down on the JQS Trail, or the other way around (depending on the time of year), and log several caches along the way.....plus a few benchmarks.

Congratulations to Go_pokes on the FTF!

Found what we assume is it, but it’s empty — except for a few bugs and spider webs. Something has gnawed on it, so maybe the log went with it? If the owner wants proof of the find, we have pictures we’ll send, but don’t want to post a spoiler here — although we are posting another fun find!

Great location for a cache! Unfortunately the Chipmunks have had there way with it and it needs repair. We will try to get up here again soon with a new container and log for this awesome cache.

Wow, what huge cowplops at the cowtop cache. Almost stepped in one of them while hunting for the cache. I'd of been holding my shoes out the window for a good long while waiting for that smell to go away. Great colors surrounding us on our walk to the cache. Congratulations to Happydog67 for their 100th find!! Glad I was along! TNLNSL

Yehaw! It's our 100th find! I agree it should be called "cowplop!" In fact, some of these plops are so huge I wonder what the hey sort of mutant cow they came from???!!!
Nice little walk into the cache on a beautiful day!!! (nice company too, with 3 cacheteers!)
