I spend so much time on the trails of Douglas County that I sometimes have to take a rest. This spot is in Waterton Canyon at a picnic area about 2 miles from the parking lot. It is accesable via hiking (or running in my case), biking or horseback.

Good luck and have fun! This one is pretty easy to find but difficult to get to. The park is open year-round and Denver Water plows the dirt road when it snows. Please BYOP.

Dogs are not allowed in Waterton Canyon.

On a hike with the Eagle View Adult Center seniors today. Slipped away for a couple of caches on our 6 mile hike. One of the seniors accompanied me to this cache and spotted it first. She may be a new geocacher in the making. Thanks for the placement, prerules!
