Gleneagle Golfing #3 9/20/2017 Added note: The golf course was closed and being built up with houses so the golf course theme is just a memory. When construction takes out the lightning shelter the cache will be gone and will have to be archived.
I have been thinking of doing a series of caches highlighting my community of Gleneagle where there had been only one geocache in the main part of the developed area. The focal highlight of Gleneagle is the golf course. From what I can learn, the golf course was built around 1972 and started the Gleneagle development as a “Planned Country Club Community.” I have located spots to place caches that work good to showcase views of various spots on the course perimeter accessible from main roads. This cache is an Altoid tin so holds only small items and the log with pencil. From this location you will see the green for Par 4 Hole # 3 and across the road the tee for Par 5 Hole #4. Parking is close and can be a shield for muggles

Picking up Gleneagle caches on the bicycle. This one won't last much longer. Vandals. Found the cache container in the grass about 10 ft from the shelter. Placed it in a more protected area that still matches the clue. Not sure which tee was which so enjoy all the views to eventually make the find.
