Maisey was our American Yellow Labrador Retriever.  She was born 8 June 2004 and we adopted her from our daughter and her family on 23 October 2004.  Maisey loved being with our grandchildren, enjoyed going on long geocaching hikes with us and always had a blast playing in the snow.  But Maisey lived to chase tennis balls!  In her younger, active days she spent every morning in the open space near our home chasing down every ball that left our chuck-it.  She would only quit when our arms got tired and we gave her the command, "All done!"  Maisey died on 12 November 2019 at the remarkable old age of 15 years and 5 months.

One of Maisey's favorite trails was Seven Bridges Trail.  While hiking this trail, her main focus was to ensure that none of the grandkids got lost, but she always took advantage of the opportunity to jump in the water at each bridge.

We have filled the cache container with swag that we know Maisey would approve of.  If you find this cache with your four-legged companion, please feel free to take one of the swag items.

Since June of 2010 a trackable in Maisey's likeness has been traveling the world.  In the summer of 2019 we were able to bring this trackable home and it is now available for discovery.  The trackable number is in the zip-lock bag with the cache log book.

We miss you Maisey!

We encountered a lot of GPS bounce due to the rocks when we placed this cache, so we have included a generous hint to ensure that you can find the cache. If you think you have better coordinates for the cache, please include them when you log your find.

Congratulations to hartsdale for FTF!!!

My dog, Pepi, also died at the age of 15. He was my constant companion and best friend. That was 25 years ago and I still miss him. Nice tribute cache to Maisey. She had a good life. Thanks for the cache

Great swag in the cache! No canines with us today so we TNLN. The cache was nicely snow-free but I can't say the same for the trail. Microspikes were a must to make progress over the hard ice covering most of the trail. Fun tribute cache - thanks!

FTF!

Nice tribute cache!

Plus, a nice spot to sit and remember some of my seven dog buddies.

I loved them all, but my favorite was " Snick " as a puppy he learned to trail run up Stanley Canyon twice a week and later he made to the top of 3 fourteen'ers. ( rare to see a dog on top )

Anyway, when I opened the container I got a warm feeling with the contents.

Thanks for the cache and some great memories to go with it!
