Circled back around after I thought I saw some other cachers. Sure enough I stumbled upon Dave and Sue, who had just discovered it. I'd put my hands on that exact spot multiple times this morning, but I suppose that's what happens.

I appreciate meeting them and getting a hint on another nearby cache. I'll happily miss the FTF to meet fellow cachers.

FTF at 8:14 AM. Having found similar hides all along the highline canal years ago, we made this find fairly quickly. Very nicely done. We also had the chance to meet a fellow geocacher from Wyoming. Great fun tftc

Well shoot. I was surprised to see this one still unfound this morning. Based on the name, I had a feeling of where to look. I circled the tree and felt the bark all over, but nothing came up, unfortunately. It is early, so not a lot of people about, but I could see it feeling awkward right next to the backyard of some folks.
