Where: Denver District 3 Police Department Substation-inside the public conference room

Looks like mother nature wasn't too kind to us for the first event, so we'll try this again. 

We will go with the same puzzle list as before, but if you would like to add any to it, let us know and we will try to add them if time allows.

Have you ever threw up your hands at those persnickety puzzle caches and exclaimed, "Help! I don't have a clue how I go about solving this and my brain hurts from thinking on it too much!" Well, this event may help get you jump started with some of those head scratchers.

We will have specific puzzles that hopefully will be of interest, but you are welcome to submit a puzzle or two of your own that you would like help with and we will work on them as a group. Or you may have already solved a particular puzzle that we're discussing and of course, your input would be most welcome. Since this event will last approximately 2 hours, we may not be able to get through all of them.

If you have a particular puzzle that you would like the group to work on, please mention it in your "will attend" log or write a note later. That will help to save time and perhaps other attendees will already be familiar with the puzzle and can help the group with the solve.

The main purpose of this gathering is to help each other with how to go about solving, not necessarily coming up with the final coordinates and of course, to have fun along way.

Now I know puzzles can be daunting work on the brain and since this will last a couple of hours, we could all probably use some fuel to replenish those brain cells. So we'd like to make this a snackluck and ask those that can to bring a snack to share with the group. Thanks in advance for that!

Thanks to all the expert puzzlers who stood up and presented their puzzles and answered questions about others! I enjoyed finally meeting them as well.

The venue worked quite well with the overhead projector connected to a laptop. Many thanks to the Denver District 3 Police Department Substation for allowing us to use their comfortable conference room!!

The snacks were excellent and it really helped to have the puzzles printed out for everyone ahead of time.

We had hoped to cache our way to the event, but it looks like Mother Nature had other plans for us. This was the perfect day to have a bunch of cachers get together. To put our brains to work and try to solve some tricky puzzles that have had use scratching our foreheads for some time and puzzles that took just a little nudge to get you started to make you have one of those "V8 moments"!!!! This was was a very fun and enjoyable event. A big Thank You to LostinDenver, Sqweeter and Nerak2001 for making this event happen and providing the printouts and snacks!

Sorry to have missed it! Slipping and sliding on foot in my driveway convinced me that I didn't want to spend time on roads in the city with the local traffic. I'll be waiting for the next one! Thanks for hosting anyway.

Thank you for putting together this event! I had my puzzles in a notebook and all ready to go and left them on my coffee table at home. Thank you for having printouts at the ready. It was awesome to see how to work some puzzles that have been on my list for a long time. Also good to meet the creative minds that put these together - sneaky sneaky! I hope you have another how-to event and one of these times the weather will behave. :)
