If you are over forty you'll remember watching Gene Autry, Hop-A-Long Cassidy and Roy Rogers. The good guys all wore white hats, the bad guys wore black ones. When we first saw these rocks years age they reminded us of those old shows and hence our landmark "The Gene Autry Rocks"

Very neat rock formations.

On a 2-day caching spree with EstesLynne for DeLorme pages and new counties. The main road getting here was really gorgeous, and this short side-road was no problem for the Subaru cache-mobile. A short, steep hike, and the search was on. Quick find & a nice sunset as reward. TFTC!

Bug Ranger and I are on a two-day caching binge to fill out some De Lorme pages and get some new counties. This one was a rather fun little uphill walk; my Subaru didn't have any trouble getting close to the cache on the "road," and we saw a really nice sunset from this hill. TFTC!

What a climb! My beagle couldn't make it. I tried to carry her but she was too heavy for that grade! She waited while I went the rest of the way. She was probably glad I found it quickly. Took nothing left a happy meal toy. Cache is in excellent dry shape. Thanks.
