This cache is in the Dorcas Jensen Memorial Park. Best access is the top of 7th street by the green water tanks. When you start up the trail, old road bed, follow the upper path.This cache was placed for some friends I have yet to meet, utwildflower and cocoalminer. I had originally meant to place it closer to Craig, but last night will driving around in the dark, there were no spots that seemed worthy. So home I went.
This morning was a new day. It started by driving back to Meeker to look for a couple of caches that I had not claimed, one being "Jensen's Veiw". Armed with last weeks cache notes, my trusty GPS and a chance for a FTF, I left in the darkness and headed up the trail. After a circular route to the cache and full of all the excitment of another FTF claim, you can only imagine the look and my face to see, right there on the cache log: cocoalminer and utwildflower, 11/11/08. I must have had the same look on my face as Deb had, back on October 7th at the Meadow Lake cache. I sat down and laughed out loud and knew that this would be the appropriate place to out their cache.
So to Deb and Mike, Thanks for the cache you place in my honor (I think???), This ones for the both of you. May your travels be pleasent and your sunsets together be many :0)
