While on a 4 month long road trip around the central US, I stayed for a week in Castle Rock with Mr. and Mrs. Rocketman (who are VERY wonderful hosts!). I had such a great time caching in the area during my stay i really wanted to give back to the community. Many thanks to RocketMan for maintaining this cache and for loathing puzzles almost as much as I do Smile

Well let's see. Yes, Monkeybrad's log below says it all! We ran into our Kentucky girl koneko and CURRENT GEOCKY MEMBER (LOL!) at GWS XIV and she urged us to visit her cache if we were in the area. Well we weren't planning on traveling back to this area but a few challenges took us back here so we had to stop. This wasn't too hard to figure out after knowing how koneko thinks! Definitely worth a Kentucky Ground Fox favorite point! Now to plan that trip up to New England! Thanks again for the fun and friendship!

Mommy and Daddy have been carrying me with them to hunt caches ever since I got out of the hospital after being born and I keep seeing new and exciting things. This time it is a big trip from Tennessee to GeoWoodstock 14 and back. Thank you for hiding this and giving my parents, Monkeybrad and Scoot the Frog and the rest of Team STFU, a reason to show me more of this big world.

Once upon a time, there was a very special girl with an unusual ability to confound the minds of mortal men. Her special purpose in life was to use this ability to spread a mix of joy, pain and confusion across the land. She did this mostly by placing inexplicable puzzle caches in the far-flung corners of the earth that she cursed her friends to maintain. I said she was special, not nice. Nonetheless, many of her friends pretended to enjoy these tasks in order to avoid her ire. In an attempt to curry her favor, I labored against this conundrum, solving it's labrynthine twists before braving the dippyless dip to fulfill our quest.
I hope that this log meets with the special, if not particularly nice, girl's approval. She's the best!

Fun fun cache. Thank for the challenge and the opportunity to find a cache by one of our favorite people while in CO.

Haha... I beat Monkeybrad to the final! Wink

But yes, I have to agree with MB and STF... this cache was hidden by a unique lass who I consider a good friend. If she would just lose that nasty habit of tricking me into finding Multis...

Okay so I deferred to the Master on this one. He had solved the puzzle and this was a MUST DO on our road trip.... my big MUST DO is the arch in St. Louis but that's getting ahead of myself. We over shot the exit and took a little scenic route.... saw Castle Rock X 2......finally we approach our destination and "giddy anticipation" absolutely describes the Dog's reaction.....now me I am absolutely freezing as it was 104 in Roswell and it is now a balmy 48 degrees brrrrrrrrr.
We park and walk to the cache.....Bingo he has it in his grasp....now he wants photos to document this historic event.....did I mention I am freezing but click, click, click I record it all. I make a beeline back to the warmth of the car...The Dog he is just savoring the moment. On to Denver..... We hope to see you back in Mass sometime soon. TFTC

This interesting puzzle has been on my bucket list for a long time... You see I am a cacher from Massachusetts, where Koneko hails from... so I always wanted to get it as I have done many of hers while vacationing on Cape Cod.. but the puzzle... took me quite a while to break the code, some time ago, then I had this on the "to do list". Today Nessacus and I are on a trip from EL Paso back to New England, and we passed by here on the way to Denver to visit with the guy that got me started in caching.... Killed 2 birds with one stone today....

So... to Koneko, cache is in fine condition, log is dry, and has plenty of room left... ( dang I was gonna do some maint on it for you if it needed... but.... )

.... and dang you Koneko for the puzzle.... but now the bucket list has one less item.... WOOT!

I think I'm gonna re-route my trip
I wonder if anybody think I'd flipped
if I went to Cape Cod via Omaha
