To continue my trend of setting challenges that are easier to qualify for, I have decided to make one for souvenirs!  Read below to make sure you qualify for this challenge before logging your find!

Congrats barasaur and Honeybuzzed on your co-FTF!

The cache IS located at the given coordinates, however you must qualify for this challenge before you can log it as "found".  Keep reading to understand the challenge and see if you qualify.

Along the way as a geocacher, you can earn special awards called "Souvenirs".  You are guaranteed to have at least 1 souvenir as long as you have found at least one cache; you get a souvenir for every State or Country you have found a Geocache in, and you can earn them for special events, such as "International Geocaching Day" (August 6th), or "International EarthCache Day" (October 12th).  As I understand it, every August Geocaching.com will set out some extra souvenirs as incentives to do special things.  I started this August, so I got lucky in the timing of when I started, and I was able to receive souvenirs for doing things in August such as finding a mystery cache, finding a multi-stage cache, a virtual cache, etc.  The only one I didn't receive  was the "event" souvenir since I didn't really understand what an event was until they had all passed, so I missed out on that souvenir as well as the one for getting ALL of the August souvenirs this year (The Achiever).

As of writing this cache, I have 13 souvenirs, hence the challenge and the title, and some of them are very fun to read!

This challenge is set up as something to strive for as you start geocaching, and know that you can always check Geocaching.com for updates and when the next souvenir may be, as well as making sure you pick up a cache every time you travel to a new place!

LasVegasBones set up a cache for those of you who have been geocaching a long time, and/or have been to all the states.  If you haven't already seen it or signed it, the name is "Jamaican Me Happy Challenge II" : GC4ABG9, This one requires 60 souvenirs and can be a bit daunting for the newer cachers, which is why I'm devising a set of new challenges for those of us who are just starting out!

I also know that during August 2013, Geocaching.com allowed geocachers to receive a souvenir for every single day in August just for finding any cache each day, meaning those who cached every day in August 2013 have at least 31 souvenirs just from that event.  As such, this challenge will be extremely easy for some to qualify for, and some of us who started after that date will take a long time to get that many souvenirs, so this challenge is meant to be an easier one to shoot for on the way up to 60 souvenirs.

If there is a demand for more intervals, even one starting as low as 5, I will release them, since I haven't seen very many souvenir challenges I will have to see what people think of this one.

As usual, to qualify for this challenge, simply show me either an image of your statistics page saying how many souvenirs you have, or simply type in and make sure your profile is set to "Public" so I can verify it if needed.  I understand that life happens, so if you need extra time to display your qualifications say so in your log, but be reasonable about it.  Those who don't prove their qualifications within a reasonable amount of time may have their logs deleted so please be respectful and only log it as found if you are able to post your qualifications in a reasonable time.  FTF status may also be lost if the FTF does not post their qualification quick enough, so keep that in mind.

You may also stop by, sign the log, and do a "write note" saying that you have signed the log but do not qualify yet, that way you can switch it to a "Found It" log when you reach the qualifications without having to go back to sign the log again.  This can make things easier for those who are traveling or do not live close.  I will not delete any "write note" logs so even if it takes you 20 years, I will leave it there for you to change at a later date.

I hope you enjoy this challenge, and take a look at my other challenges around Fort Collins and Loveland if you enjoy them as well.  Good luck and go get yourself some souvenirs!

Here on an amazing 10 day geocaching road trip with sweet-marie, kteeeee and laphamclan. We flew into Kansas City and after renting a car we drove through Kansas, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Missouri and back to Kansas. All logs were either signed CCC (Crazy Canadian Cachers) or stamped with our red CCC stamp. Answers to Virtuals and Earthcaches have been sent in on behalf of the group.

MPLC

Our English is not perfect, we use Google Translate to help us ...

Our journey began last August 22 and will take us to visit twelve US states and two Canadian provinces ... Our departure was from Baie-Comeau, a city on the North Shore of Quebec and then continue for a few days in Quebec City where we did some Geocaching .... Then we stopped at St-Eustache and Ville de Laval, still in Quebec, and then flew to Portland, Oregon... We made stop in Umatilla on August 28 still in Oregon, August 29 in Boise, Idaho, August 30 in Twin Falls and August 31st we are in Salt Lake City for two days... The 2nd of september we were in Rock Springs. Wyoming and the september 3 the road brought us to Laramie, Wyoming... On September 4th and 5th we were in the Colorado Spring area, CO ... Today we are heading to Fort Collins, CO

Throughout the trip we have targeted some caches that will help us achieve our personal goals and we will certainly discover new places that Geocachers here will want us to discover ... We have been planning this trip for several months and know we will not be able to not all see for lack of time ... There are many caches but we must close our eyes can not find them all ... But it is with pleasure that we will put our signature on some of them ...

Thank you for creating these caches that add smiles to our profile and make us have a good time regardless of the mood of Mother Nature ... Our log will be the same for the whole day and if there is a particularity we will add it at the beginning of the text ... Favorites will be added here and there for all the work done ... TFTC

Found it at 0608.
I drove by this place several years ago, maybe soon after the cache was created. But I'm pretty muggle-shy, and a hunt here seemed pretty daunting. But now that I often come back to the nearby "Monday Morning Meetup" events, I decided to tackle this one at a better time.
I was pretty sure where this one was, so I blocked one side of GZ with my geo-vehicle, and made a quick park-and-grab of it. There weren't any muggles nearby that were worth worrying about. Glad I finally got this one!

I qualified for this challenge almost 6 years ago. I'm up to 169 souvenirs now, and my public profile should show all of them.
