We are always grateful to those who place and maintain caches for families like us to enjoy. This cache is in good shape. No spoilers here.

We are in a trip to TX for the Mega event GeoWoodstock. We hope to grab a bunch of counties and hang out with a bunch of cachers.

Out and about caching and exploring with the geocacher extraordinaire known throughout the land as none other than the lovable and cuddly herndonrd. Today our goal was to get Earthcaches and virtual caches as well as whatever tickled our fancy.

Noticing that this one helped him complete one of the "100 miles" challenges, herndonrd couldn't resist adding it to the list, which I didn't mind one bit.

We looked for quite some time with no success. After reading the old logs, we concluded that this one had gone the path of the dodo bird. Fortunately herndonrd had a replacement with him so we could keep this one alive for everyone. After he signed the log for us and put everything in place, we were hopping back in the car and driving off to the next one. Thanks for the fun hide and for your contribution to a great day of caching.

P. S. No animals (including humans or PayMeCache) were harmed in the writing of this log.

Nice hide in a cool little Park. Had to walk through a flock of geese to get to it, but we made it through safely! Working on getting the turtle souvenir on the hidden creatures challenge. This leaves us with 29 to go. Thank you for your part in our adventure!

Once we learned about the Hidden Creature Challenge we knew we would have to travel in order to complete the challenge. We simply did not have one hundred caches within 40 miles to be able to log. Since we had not been in the Pueblo area for years we decided to cache our way to and then in the area.

Our second day of caching in and around the Pueblo area before heading home, included more maintenance on 10 more caches. We replaced several caches, logs and containers. We had completed the Hidden Creature Challenge yesterday but enjoyed the new area while adding to our numbers. Searched the area for several minutes and found several items but not the cache. Placed a new container with log at GZ to keep cache going. SL,TFTC
