We saw this cache post last weekend and it looked like fun. We didn’t want a little snow on the ground to stop us, so we parked in the main Cheyenne Canon parking lot and made the long (8 miles round trip) but quick hike out to GZ. We made the mistake of leaving Gold Camp Road to approach the cache from the north - slippery downhill and uphill. Approaching the cache from the west is much easier - just hike the ridge to GZ. We made the find, signed the log under HD, and took a piece of amazonite for our granddaughter. We even had time to hide a new Coniferous cache on the way back to the car. Thanks to the CO for bringing us it here - Fave point for the fun!

FTF!
The weather didn’t seem to bad for a long hike, so off I went.

Driving up the Canyon I was very glad to see no snow on the ground, there was a light snow ?? in the air.

I had three parking choices with no one in any of them, I opted for the middle one, and grabbed all my gear and headed up the trail.

After what seemed like forever I was at GZ and there it is.

Thanks for a large container to find!
