Dogs  Significant hike  Not Wheelchair accessible  Bicycles  Medium hike (1km-10km)

An unnamed mountain top of the front range.
Often times, right before a snow or rain storm blows in, I will look out to this particular spot on the front range from across I-25 and see the dark clouds gathering. The mountains appear to have gone black from that standpoint and it is quite an impressive sight to see.

I have been wanting to put a cache up here for a while now, finally did it. You are looking for a large Lock & Lock box with some goodies inside. For approach recommendations see "The Parasailor's View" cache page that is down the ridge to the south. Have fun!

Found it! Walked the trail/road up here. I didn't realize it came this close. And then it ended (I definiltely thought I was going the other direction). Found the cache with ease. Left a baseball bat TB that was long for the ride. TFTC!

Hiked up the hill from North Beaver Creek Overlook cache today to find this cache. It was a tough climb, especially with snow and ice on the slopes. Once we made it to the summit, it was a quick find. Signed log and replaced container as found. Thanks for the cache.

OMG! I thing that is the hardest I've ever had to work for a T2.5 hide. Made the hike up from 215. Up & down even more to get out here. You would need a serious 4WD to make it up those hills.

Thanks for another fun cache up this way! Came out here with CrumbCrunchers after work for a Friday hike. We made it all the way up here and managed a few finds. This was our next to last cache of the day and made the find relatively quick. Signed and stamped the log. All is well here! Thanks again Tom.dog for another cool cache location!

I was surprised at the well built shelter nearby. Great area for some Jeeping. Definitely would've been an easier trek than the way we came in and matches the terrain rating better! Sl, thanks!
