A micro off of the road/trail up here.
The view from here is breathtaking, with a clear sight to the Air Force Academy at your south/southeast, Monument at you northeast, and Black Forest out to the east a ways. A great photo opp to say the least.


As for the name of the cache, you will find that it is located at what looks to be a dock out of water. I believe that it is a platform that parasailers will jump off of to get their adrenaline rush.

There are a couple different approches to the cache, you could park at either the trailhead for Trail 715 or at the end of Road 718X. Have fun!

I found myself hiking in the area so I stopped by to snag this one. The last cacher reported that this one was missing. What a bummer! So I thought I'd have a look anyway. Well, somehow, I found the log! The baggie served its purpose diligently! I pulled the log out and unfolded it to see that the it was the log for the missing cache! So, I repaired it and messaged the owner. I hope I helped. I left a cammo pill container with a new log and the old log in the same location (except on the ground but protected). What an interesting structure so high up! Great views! TFTC!

Thanks for the fun cache! Found our way up here today after work for a fun hike! I doubt this ramp has been used for a long time, but what a view! I circled around and actually missed this one! While sitting there looking CrumbCrunchers started laughing and asked "Really!?" I was literally sitting inches away looking under and past it! Ugh! Lol! Refocused I did a face palm. Signed and stamped the log and replaced as found. All is well here! Thanks for another cool spot!

We came at this the long way. Suffice to say, we probably doubled the terrain rating. RPieperco sat clueless beside it for a bit before I took pity and pointed it out to him. Must've been the gorgeous view, he was too enchanted to pay attention, lol! Sl, thanks!
