After a lot of brainstorming, I’m glad to say that this one is once again enabled.
The previous issue with this one is that someone had discovered the cache and decided to break a piece of the ammo box off and throw it's contents about. What was interesting is that they left the ammo box there but took some of it's contents.
This time around, I wanted to make the cache a little different so that it was a little harder to mess with and make it a little more unique. Looking back, I think I was only able to accomplish one of those, this one seems to possibly stand out more than before.
The cache has been restocked with a few camping supplies for the next finder. I'll say that I learned what a bowline knot was while here and I hope that this one will last for a while. If not, there is always the option of changing the final cache or location slightly but I really enjoy this spot.
Hope the next finder enjoys the changes that have been done to the final!

Just a quick update here as I didn't want anyone to think that I've forgotten about this one. I've been thinking of a few ideas on how to make the final a little more elusive if not more protected and have a plan for the next time that I'm down in the area which should be shortly.

Looks like someone broke the final off from the bike lock and threw the logbook into the nearby water. Will be looking into a better solution in the following days. Will have to disable for now.

On a fun cache run with my mom this to end the year while the weather is nice! I didn’t realize how few geocaches I found this year! Guess that will be part of my resolutions. Thanks for placing and maintaining this awesome cache for us to find!
This was quite the adventure!! Stage 1 was a trip trying to get down that ice waterfall and then dodge the weak sections later on. My mom was definitely laughing at me as I did it. Luckily I am a rock climber so stage 3 wasn’t an issue at all. The final location does look like it’s a hub for the neighborhood kids. I hope it lasts! All was in good condition for now. Thanks for the fun one!

It's unfortunate to hear that this one is being accessed by muggles, especially after paying this one a visit last night. Everything looked like it was in good condition and there was a signature that wasn't logged that I'm assuming was from a few locals. I would hate to have to archive this one so soon and have an idea on how to fix the issue. Will be back down here soon.

Stopped by on my way through town to find this one. The area at WP1 was very icy, but navigable, and I had some appropriate gear with me to get to the final. The log book and some swag was just sitting next to the container - it appears that muggles are finding the cache, so it might be wise to avoid leaving trackables. Thanks for the hide.

We solved the puzzle and went after stage 1 a few days ago. Didn't think through this stage very well and had to get some help from a friend to find it. Went to the final today with a TOTT, which made the terrain rating a little more manageable for us. Signed the log and noticed some neighborhood kids had signed the log the same day as the FTF. We came prepared to exchange trackables, but decided to just rescue the trackable in the container to protect it from future muggles. Thanks for the fun puzzle cache.

When I woke up this morning, I had no idea what the next few hours would entail. This published and I sent it to a friend as a placeholder, since we're in the middle of a snowstorm and of course I'm not actually going out for it today. Well, she had it solved a couple of minutes later and encouraged me to brave the weather. The checker didn't like the coords we had, but they made sense and I figured it was a letterbox-style cache based on the poem, anyway...so off I went.
I had an idea what I was in for and didn't think I'd be able to do it alone, so I dangled the carrot to a couple of folks, one of whom soon arrived at GZ. We confidently started looking. And looking. And looking. The snow made for some interesting shapes up high, so we squandered a lot of time climbing some things we didn't have to (but wanted to). In the meantime, a better cacher came through, quietly did his magic, and posted a FTF. WHAT?! We quickly re-evaluated our approach and did what we should have done in the first place (treating it like a multi, not a letterbox).
That's a stone's throw for you? Wow, good arm! The final was easy to spot, but getting there required us to build a rough Rube Goldberg contraption plus a very large blood sacrifice on GoMRT's part. I see where someone could have done this without a tool, but with the wet weather, it was a one-shot deal today and we were too late to use the "easy" route. I don't think anyone would object if you bumped this to a 5T! Thanks for the adventure.
