The third of what will be a series of 7 caches near establishments in the San Luis Valley that may have been started by Circuit Riders. You DO NOT need to go inside the fence or up the steps to retrieve this cache.

Circuit riders were clergy assigned to a number of communities to established and serve churches in rural areas. They usually traveled by horseback and often visited their assigned communities only once every few months. This one was established in 1886. The current building was built in 1922 and is on the Colorado Historic Register.

The post about a travel bug may not be correct. The cache container is a nano.

No luck in the dark. The hint makes it seem pretty obvious but...
And then a previous finder removed a travel bug?!? It's obviously not that small.

What a fun cache! I had no idea - w parked near the monument and I walked/climbed the distance. I interrupted a family of rabbits getting close to the cache. One question: what’s with all the broken glass in the area? Grabbed the TB. Will get it in it’s way.

TFTC! Tricky stash....I didn't find it one day, came back with the family the next, and somehow spotted it from afar while they scoured the area! Kids had a fun time...
