Located along the Arkansas Riverwalk Trail. There was a geocache at this spot that was hidden on Sept. 1, 2004 and archived on Feb. 7, 2009 (Arkansas Arch - GCKED8 by Whiskey Park Gang). Recently I was scouting cache locations and found the container completely by accident. Although the container was smashed the log book was still legible and several swag items were salvageable. I thought it would be appropriate to place a new cache here while also paying tribute to the original.

The location is not exactly the same but is very close. I'm putting the original log book in as well as the swag that I recovered. Sturdy shoes are recommended and gloves may be helpful. The trail is mostly level with a short scramble to the cache. Beyond the fence is private property. Don't go there. This is a big container that is well hidden. There is plenty of room for swag and trackables. Please re-hide it well so that casual muggles don't spot it.

I so remember finding the original cache that was here. A little muddy from all the rain but I did manage to find the cache in excellent condition. Also watch for all the poison ivy. I was being very careful because I am like a magnet for the stuff. I did manage to out unscathed by it. Thanks for redoing this cache.

Forgot to mention that there is some poison ivy in the area. There isn't any close to the cache, but you will pass some on the approach. Just pay attention and walk around it.

I was out and about today and stopped to check on this cache. The cache is in great shape, but unfortunately the travel bug is missing. Not only is the travel bug gone, but the tupperware container and laminated travel bug information is also missing. So someone had to purposely steal the travel bug. I hate it when that happens. Otherwise the cache is in perfect health. I dropped another travel bug with crossed fingers. I hope it travels far.
