Not much activity downtown on a Sunday morning -- just me and the homeless. And somebody in the nearby hotel needed the services of paramedics and ambulance. I have the answers available from the site and will have the others tomorrow. Thanks for creating this virtual cache.

We had trouble finding parking and ended up in the parking garage a couple of blocks away. We then walked in a stiff cold wind down to the area to search for the answers. After gathering the required local info we headed back to the car to thaw out. Researched answers have been emailed. Thanks for the history lesson.

Our Colorado vacation began in earnest today with most of the day spent in Colorado Springs, as well as a brief jaunt up to around 10,500 feet. Just a super day.

We enjoyed a nice walk up and down the street. It was early enough that it wasn't too crazy with people just yet. Some neat history here. Found the on-site answers with no trouble, but the online research was kind of tough. Email is en route to the CO. TFTC!

I "found" this one a ways back while going a geology of Colorado Springs tour. I never bothered to put it all together apparently because when the Ohio GeoBugs came out, I realized I didn't have a smiley there. So I'm finally getting around to finishing it! TFTVC!

In downtown Colorado Springs this morning with Colorado GeoDemon to find some virtuals. Found a parking space and walked between friends gathering the needed information. More research was done afterwards for the questions we could not answer.

A nice virtual that gave us a little history of the early settlers of Colorado Springs.

Found on my honeymoon with my new wife Tigerteacher. We swore we would get a lot of caches while we were here, but a combination of scheduling (we're in a tour group) and my forgetting my gps device (meaning we can only use the cellphone app in the sparse areas of service) has made this the only one we've been able to do so far. I am on a road trip with Boreal Walker and jREST from Minnesota to New Mexico and back meandering our way through as many counties as we could with many target caches in our sights. The weather was decent, although we did have a day that the temperatures reached 100 degrees and we were very thankful for the air conditioning the car provided. We enjoyed our journey and the many laughs along the way along with the great places some of these caches brought us to.
