After a bad start toward this from the southwest side of the area (found a "road" but there was a gate across it that I felt reluctant to open despite the signage), I regrouped and re-approached from the east. Not sure this was much better, because even with dry conditions it takes some careful 4wd driving and a high clearance vehicle to negotiate the "road". I am now 100% certain the T rating is way too low on the caches out here. In fact, I could not figure out how to get to the caches further west but at best it involved some pretty tough trails or rough hiking.
On a side note, a rancher placing cattle on this ground is probably being cruel to those animals. There is nothing to eat and no apparent water.
