Middle Name Pride Day honors the seldom used middle name that often sets you apart from others. It was selected with care, so you should be proud of it.

Here's two big reasons to be proud of your middle name:

First, there are plenty of John Smiths and and Mary Jones. Its the middle name your parents gave you that makes your name unique.

Second, your parents chose your middle name with great care. It often was selected to honor a friend or relative. That person may have possessed certain characteristics that they want you to inherit.

Do you know why your were given your middle name? If not, todays the day to find out. If it was in honor of someone, find out a little more about that person.

Out early grabbing geocaches near the hotel on our way from Houston to steamboat for spring break. I was letting my phone charge in the warm car and went to the beacon. I could not find easily and second guessed my arbor skills. Went back with the phone and found relatively quickly. Thanks for placing and for the geofun!

Out with my great friend, #1 Beefers, for an all day geocaching adventure. We were busted by a security guy. He asked us if we were looking at the pine trees. We truthfully answered,"Yes." By this time, we had found and signed the log. He was pleasant and probably felt we did not present a threat by being two old ladies. Thanks for the placement, Imusttravel2000!

Out and about with great caching friend GanderGoose today. Excellent day for caching. And as usual we brought a picnic. Thank you for this placement Imusttravel2000. Cute container. We were approached by a company security guy wondering what we were up to. Had to tell him we were interested in the pine trees, and what species was the one with the lighter bark. He bought it. Told us we could stay as long as we needed to check out the trees.
