Raymond area accessed thru tr252! Changes elevations several times, 1000' change!
6x6x6 gray screw cover wp box! Small notepad for log book! 2AA batteries, lighter, and a travel bug!!! Inside a freezer ziplock bag! This cache is located near a post office in an area called Gresham. There is also an old saw mill there that was powered by an old ford model '?' truck. The reason this cache is called 'stuck bronco' is because we almost rolled my 1979 bronco on the way to the old post office site. So I decided this would be a good site for a remote cache. Take your time, it's a fun trip.

Needed the 4.5/5 that was holding me back from advancing a level in the multi-Fizzy challenges and searched for this to my satisfaction but came up empty. I hope it is not among the pile of 1000 rusted cans some distance to the south. Not sure if I will ever be back in the area, but TFTH!

I needed this one bad. We spent over 25 min. on this baby. 4.5 D/ 5 T still eludes us. I just ain't smart enough. The ruins and littter have been rearranged and still no find. I am going to sleep on this one and hope to return before we leave.

Armed with a very good hint on what I missed the other day I decided I needed to get back here and tackle this cache. People working on blasting rocks on the highways tried to say otherwise and prevent me from getting here. Thankfully I was able to get around of a lot of the extreme delays by using Lee Hill Road to get here. I left my ATV at home this time I just decided that I'd hike up for some exercise and grab a few of the other caches I didn't have time to look for the other day.

I grabbed a couple caches before making my way over to this one. Of course I took the steepest route and climbed through a lot of timber and bushes to get here - apparently I really wanted to earn this difficulty / terrain rating, ha!

Back at ground zero I clearly was able to see what I missed last time because I was looking in the wrong spot(s). Took a few more photos before leaving.

Hooray! Found GCZ7HH - Stuck Bronco, on August 15, 2017 using Cachly for iOS.

Thank you, ghostrider713 for placing a fun cache for all of us to enjoy and giving back to the community. I look forward to finding more of your caches. I also look forward to potentially finding Geocaches with you one day and sharing stories of our hobby or should I say addiction? Cheers!

YEP!

Cool old truck?
Another neat home

I have been looking at this cache for over a year now. It was an important cache for me to sign my John Hancock on as it is needed for my traditional fizzy challenge. Being so far away the cache kept getting put on the back burner. I took a little time to plan for this cache and decided to load up my ATV for trail 252. That was the easiest part about this cache because I really struggled actually finding the entrance for trail 252. After driving around and realizing that I needed to be much further north I began my travels. Thankfully I met a very nice lady who was out on a walk and told me what I was missing, where to park and how to get there. Whew!

Hats off to you for taking your Bronco up this trail. There were many times my hands were sweating on this trail with my ATV. I ended up almost rolling my ATV in one spot and jumped off as quickly as I could and pushed against it to prevent it from rolling. Adrenaline took over and saved the day but I ended up hurting my leg in the process. Another two times I had to use my winch to get me out of some touch spots that I just couldn't get out of. In route I grabbed a couple caches, overlooked a few and did not find them. I pressed on because this was my target cache along with another.

After searching around what I thought was ground zero I came up empty. Hmm where is this thing, it's gotta be under all this stuff! Due to time constraints I packed up and decided to tackle it when I had more time.

Thanks for the great cache in an amazing location! Zeroed in on this one quickly and utilized the nearby "tools" to gain access! Signed and stamped the log and replaced as found. All is well here! Spent the next bit of time taking a ton of pictures and examining the surrounding buildings. What a cool location! Thanks for bringing us here!

The day was getting late and RPieperco and I were attempting to get to Kleaver Karl. The long hike was out so we attempted from this direction instead. Neat structures nearby that are privately owned. We also decided at this point it was time to bail and head for home. Sl, thanks!

Found this on the way back to the car. Super cool location. I didn't find the thing mentioned in the hint, but I managed to improvise with litter sitting nearby. Thanks for directing my attention here.

I originally had planned to go after a single lonely cache today but when I got up this morning my knee was still a little sore from the 14 mile CMC hike in RMNP on Saturday. So I went with Plan B which was to get a couple D/T combos that will move me closer to my 5X Fizzy and some other caches that will help with challenges I'm working toward.

I headed up to the Peak to Peak highway and then down Overland to the parking spot below this cache. I had three targets on my hike from this parking location. First I humped it up to the top of Cannon and logged Explore the Cannon. Then I headed downhill to this cache. There's a lot of stuff in the area around GZ and I ended up making the search longer than it should have taken. I probably was within inches a couple times before I saw the container. Signed the log and was very pleased to have another cache of this D/T. I now have 5 of them.

After logging the cache I headed east toward my last cache target in this location, Bald Mountain. Thanks ghostrider713 for placing this nice cache!!!

What a great day. I set up an event to hike to Milller’s Rock and make the loop gathering all the caches in this area. I woke at 5am to prepare and get to the event at 7am. Made it with no issues and was eventually though out the event greeted by AbvAge, nickgatt, Team Tiger Pride, and Pyrusticia giving us six crazy cachers for the hike.

After the event was over we headed up the hill for a fun filled day of laughter, fun, pain, and smiles on our geomaps to compete our day. Here are some of the stats on our hike

Total time on trail 7 ½ hours
Total hiking time 4 hours
Covered 7 miles
Lowest elevation 7900 feet
Highest Elevation 8700 feet
Elevation gain over hike 1800 feet
Gathered 28 caches including the event.
Sore feet 12

Thanks for attending my event and spending the day hiking with me. I appreciate you all. Also thanks for all the people that have put some caches out here in this area for us. It allowed our day to happen.
