The first of what will be a series of 7 caches near establishments in the San Luis Valley that may have been started by Circuit Riders. You DO NOT need to go inside the fence to retrieve this cache.
Circuit riders were clergy assigned to a number of communities to established and serve churches in rural areas. They usually traveled by horseback and often only visited their assigned communities only once every few months. This one was established in 1908.

Very windy day...the tiny log blew away and I replaced it as best I could. Sorry..
