Had a nice hike up to this one! The views are great for 360 degrees. Spent some time honing in on this one but after a discussion, we figured where it had to be. Now only getting there was the challenge! After picking a line and working my way along...there it was! Spent sometime opening the container, but the inside was rusty and wet. No signing this log! Placed a new, hopefully sealed, bison tube so that the log might stay dry. Thanks for the challenge! By the way, preferred down climbing to letting gravity have its way. :)

Out for a day of caching to go somewhere in the middle of nowhere, but since we got a late start to the day (for a March day in Colorado was unusually warm and spring-like) hiked to a closer one instead. NICE hike, especially if you are a rock-hound...
Once to the site, thought I saw where it had to be and Wild Columbine climbed to it, but not there, SOOO explored for hours in this great rock formation, found a bear cave (smelled more like lion, but way too much evidence of bear from all the scat in the vicinity). Was getting frustrated with the GPS squirreling around to pinpoint any GZ, and then spotted it!!!! (Had even messaged owner for a hint, but didn't get one).
Went back to the original spot we started at, and YES! Success! The metal cache container was rusted shut, so Wild Columbine pried it off with his trusty swiss army knife to find the log was a disintegrated wet mess. I just happen to have some bison tubes with water-proof logs with me, SOOO we put a new container (left the old one to prop the new one) for anyone else adventurous enough to get this one and want to sign the log.
Thought it should be a 5 on terrain especially for the spot where the Cache is...

Obviously, climbers don't take a day off, they just tone it down a bit... :-) You found another interesting and worthy location for this one, and before you ask, I opted to down climb instead of jumping off... Another fun one, thanks for the cache!

Another sweet location by Adrenalin Junkie but I just couldn't get my hands on it. I'm pretty sure I know where it's at but not brave enough to go for it by myself. I didn't have anyone with me in case things went wrong so I figured it was not worth going for. On a better note what a view!!! Had the time of my life climbing the mountains to get there and it was well worth all the aches I'm gonna have in the morning. Was going to try and get both of these caches today but after this climb there was no way I could go for another one of yours... Not today anyways. I'll be back with help next time. Thanks for the view!
