Many thanks to my usual two cohorts for helping me locate the right spot for this cache, and place it. The cache is not at the listed coordinates. Please note that the main trail/road into this area eventually crosses a small corner of private property, but the boundary is clearly marked and you will be heading down towards the cache before you reach that point…or you should be. Solve the following puzzle to find the cache. Submit your solution to geochecker to obtain parking coordinates. Larger images of the puzzle are available in the gallery.

Actually a series of small steps I’m thinking, at least to get to this cache. One the fun side I knew a shuttle crew member, Dale Gardner, a great man. Appreciate the puzzle and the hide, a fun one..

Hi- I've solved this once before, but in town this time around with no notes in tow. Went through the steps again this morning and added the info to my day's fresh notes. Coming by on the way back to the car from other caching, I spent a while sidetracked by looking at a big buck deer, and a pretty industrious sapsucker hammering a tree. I had to backtrack a ways when I realized where was what; and had the cache in hand pretty quickly.

What a fun cache! Had an inkling of how to solve it as soon as I saw the page and was shocked to solve it on my first try. Very neat way to honor those who have served in this capacity.

This was between two others that I really hoped to pick up today with RPieperCO, Button, and Marauder Jude, and I'm glad we did. Didn't expect it to be a multi, so that was a fun way to trick the kids into a slightly longer hike. (Ha!) Fun waypoint, and great final - appreciated the item and code on the lid. The kids loved the swag inside. After taking in the amazing view from the final, we headed on to our final cache of the day...even saw a "giraffe house" on the way back, as Button described it. You'll know it when you see it!

Thanks for the time and effort that went into this cache!

Ha ha ha! Great cache and location! I heard about this one and was surprised that it was on Kerewin0430 solved list as well. After the event in woodland park we set out to find a few caches in the area. We made our way over here and found the first stage! Hilarious!!! Then made our way over to the final. What a great view! Kids loved this one too! Signed the log and replaced as found. All is well here! Made our way back to the car and headed off to the next one! Great fun! Thanks again for your creativity!

That was SO much fun! I am amazed at how you found the places to put this cache out. Truly one of your best! Loved the extra twist although I was a little puzzled at first. This gets a favorite for ingenuity. Tftc!!!
