As Jimi Hendrix sang at the 1969 Denver Pop Festival, rehersal for Woodstock two months later, "Is it on the top or down."
Mile High Stadium never rocked so much and had so much tear gas. To finaly quell the audience the riot police let Jimi play 1 song. He started out by saying, "Here is one song you will never forget,(snicker) yeah man!"

On that statement he began with "Voodoo Child" and about 1 hour later it ended with "Voodoo Child, a slight return" which went on for another 20 minutes or so.

He was able to convince the enforcement officers that it was just one song, I guese. IT SURE FOOLED US!

Easily found while on a loop hike to the Palisade Flag. A snowy, cold but sunny day for a hike. Great view! TNLN. SL. T4TC!

This deserves more finds per year! Views are killer from up top! Hurry before the gnats start buzzing about.

The hike is not as extreme as the Gearhart Mine/Mt. Garfield Summit trails. The first part of the climb is the worst and it tapers off fairly level after that. Halfway up the Stagecoach trail there is a fork that veers left (southwest'ish). This overlooks the lowest cliff face. There is a little climb near the end to access the top of the ridge. Round trip today was a little more than an hour. TFTC TNLN SL FAV (cache needs swag)

Shoot, look at that view!
