Started this adventure at about 10am and finished up at about 3:15pm. I ended up finding 12/14 caches in about 10 miles, which I am happy with. As the day went on, more and more mountain bikers appeared. I would have started earlier, but anything below freezing is where I draw the line. Thanks for all of the caches. I know that I will be back some day because there were a few that I just did not have time or energy to grab.

I started riding to this but my balance is poor so walked most of the way. Today is my 69th birthday and I wanted to do something special. I crashed twice coming down from the top. A vehicle had left muddy ruts in the main road and I was trying to stop to take pictures of 8 deer and lost control.

As I continue to take trips up to Golden, I'm grateful to have time to explore the area. Today I had the opportunity to explore the William F. Hayden Green Mountain Park. Despite the snow and cold weather in Colorado Springs, it was in the 60s here. Finding the geocache was fun and offered a good hunt with no drama. Thanks to the CO for placing this nice cache for everyone to find, TFTC.
