Thank you for taking the time and effort to hide this cache so we could enjoy the search and its discovery. sl

3rd grade project in 2006, must be graduated high school by now. Maintenance people working on slopes and a herd of horses who paid us little attention. Wanted to get these Sunlight caches 2 years ago when last here, but didn't have the time. Strenuous hike but enjoyable. Lone Wolf 77 and I on a western slope vacation geocaching. Thank you for placing this cache so we could enjoy the game. sl

Found quickly with the help of a local dog who adopted us for the cache hunt. Many thanks to Denali41 for replacing the cache container. TNLN. SL. T4TC!

I found this as well as the Team 3 cache today, with fuller details given in my log for Team 3. As the previous finder indicated, the plastic cache container has gone to pieces. Surprisingly, the cache log book was dry and in good condition, with all prior logs fully readable! Also, some of the individual notes written by the Team 5 third graders were still in good condition. Because of the prior log about the cache condition, I brought a replacement container and placed everything in it. It's smaller than was the original cache, but still qualifies as a Regular-sized cache container. The new one is very durable, and this cache is now"good-to-go" for a long time into the future! I packed out the pieces of the original cache container and properly disposed of them. My puppy Orizaba was with me today on this new type of experience for her--walking along a horse trail with all the interesting associated odors!

No problem finding it in the summer, but it would be invisible with snow on the ground. The cache has pretty much disintegrated. The plastic container has broken into pieces due to the weather and the contents are lying on the ground.

The first attempt had me on the wrong side of the river but I'll chalk that up to user error. Got on the right side of things but it didn't help. The coords had me postholing through the snow for about 60' but it took me to nowhere. Then I looked where it would have made sense to have been but still found nothing. Thinking this one may be gone. Or at least buried by snow.
