This is a challenge cache, check below to make sure you meet the qualifications.

Congrats barasaur on FTF!

This cache IS located at the coordinates given, however you must meet the criteria to log this cache as "found".  To log this cache, you must have found 5 Letterbox Hybrid-type caches in one CALENDAR day.

While out caching the other day, I came across a letterbox hybrid not too far east of I-25 by OneKindWord.  He mentioned in the description that it was on the way to the "star".  I had no idea what he was talking about, but as I only had found one letterbox before it, I made my way out there to grab his.  Then I noticed the GeoArt Star (check out "Colorado Star #01- Stars Across America" GC4E0DH for more info) made out of letterboxes several miles to the East!  50 of them!  You have to hike them all, as they are on the pawnee grasslands, and it is not an easy feat, it will take you 3-5 hours depending on how fast you go, and since some of them are very hard to find it may take you longer that you'd think.  I told myself I was going to give it a go, so I did and a little over 4 hours later I had all 50 of them done, proud of myself for being able to do it after 4 back surgeries.  Now, I have 52 total letterboxes opposed to the 1 I had before!

This challenge is designed so that you don't have to go do the "Star" as I did, if you find a town or park where various people have placed letterboxes and you can get 5 of them in one day, that works too.  Depending on how many people around here have actually hiked the "star" and have done all 50, I may do some higher qualifying challenges as well.  This one is designed so that you can get it done anywhere, not just in one place.  I have also heard there are star designs in many other states, so some of you may have done the star series many times in many places and qualify for this many times over.  For now, lets keep it at 5 and work our way up as we see fit!

As always, this is not mandatory, its meant to be a fun challenge to get out and do, maybe make a day of it while you are visiting somewhere that has numerous letterboxes.  I will be trying to get some letterbox caches out myself sometime soon so keep an eye out, but do not rely on me to get this challenge done!  Also, as usual, make sure to either give me the date and GC codes used to qualify for this challenge, make your profile public for me to verify, and/or use GSAK if you can to post your qualifications.  This one is meant to be a starter challenge for letterboxes so I'll keep an eye on how many people log this challenge and how many have more than 5 in one day and if needed I will post a higher challenge down the road.

These challenges are all meant to be fun and rewarding, do not stress over them, but if you enjoy them I will keep placing new and exciting challenges!  Thanks to all the support I get from those of you who enjoy challenges as much as myself!

Difficulty and Terrain rating for this cache take into account that in addition to finding this cache you must have found 5 letterbox caches in a single day which usually requires puzzles or riddles, or hiking a specific area.  The container itself will be big enough for small swag and small trackables, and shouldn't be too hard for you to find.

My final muggle story for the day...a car pulled up to GZ just as I approached the very obvious (geocacher) hiding place so I detoured slightly to look at the nearby sales rack. Apparently getting out of the car requires extensive phone checking but after about ten minutes, the muggle finally got out of his car so I could return for a discrete sign and dash. Qualifying for this cache was somewhat happenstance...I was mostly interested in geoart when I first started caching so I was excited about the CO star located NE of town several years ago. That trek was quite a fun outing and I'm sad to no longer see a star of smilies on the map. At least the letterbox numbers still exist in my stats so here is a screenshot of all the letterboxes I found that day so many years ago! Attached is a screenshot showing 6 of the letterboxes. Thanks for the hide - and helping me reach my tenth mystery cache of the day so get ready for another log tomorrow Wink!

MPLC

Our English is not perfect, we use Google Translate to help us ...

Our journey began last August 22 and will take us to visit twelve US states and two Canadian provinces ... Our departure was from Baie-Comeau, a city on the North Shore of Quebec and then continue for a few days in Quebec City where we did some Geocaching .... Then we stopped at St-Eustache and Ville de Laval, still in Quebec, and then flew to Portland, Oregon... We made stop in Umatilla on August 28 still in Oregon, August 29 in Boise, Idaho, August 30 in Twin Falls and August 31st we are in Salt Lake City for two days... The 2nd of september we were in Rock Springs. Wyoming and the september 3 the road brought us to Laramie, Wyoming... On September 4th and 5th we were in the Colorado Spring area, CO ... Today we are heading to Fort Collins, CO

Throughout the trip we have targeted some caches that will help us achieve our personal goals and we will certainly discover new places that Geocachers here will want us to discover ... We have been planning this trip for several months and know we will not be able to not all see for lack of time ... There are many caches but we must close our eyes can not find them all ... But it is with pleasure that we will put our signature on some of them ...

Thank you for creating these caches that add smiles to our profile and make us have a good time regardless of the mood of Mother Nature ... Our log will be the same for the whole day and if there is a particularity we will add it at the beginning of the text ... Favorites will be added here and there for all the work done ... TFTC

I've found as many as 24 letterbox hybrid caches n a single day; that was in 2015 up north in Minnesota using an alphabetical animal series that has since been archived. So I'll use some caches that were much more recent and which are still easy to check: On August 17th I found my first such cache (Pucker up) in Colorado and ended up finding 12 more that day, all in the WX power series southeast of this cache: WX1, WX44, WX2, WX7, WX8, WX9, WX56, WX57, WX58, WX59, WX60, and WX69; the very next cache I found was a nearby multi and it was my 22,000th find overall! Good challenge, FDF favorite point, and TFTC!!
